Whaley Jr Wins Wreck Filled Graveyard Of Destruction At Daytona!!!

This was a HORRIBLE race for the fans put on by Sure Fire Racing. At some points you had to question what exactly was going on, or who were the impersonators behind the wheel. Race Directors were quoted as saying " We are better than this! We MUST clean up this debacle disguised as a race. This can't happen again, and we will get this straightened out!" The Dash and Heats however, did not disappoint. Fast time of the night would go to Shane Gross in the #14 with a 45.283.

The Dash saw the #072 of John Estes get his 1st checkered flag in the league. Heat 1 exploded at the end and saw Christopher Arthur lead Dustin Smith to the line. Heat 2 was not to be outdone as Mark Arthur, Paul Cohen and Daniel Kirby made one hell of a finish for the cameras and Race Officials. The Feature saw 8 cautions for 32 of the 80 laps. No cars were untouched and mangled as multiple wrecks had taken there toll on everyone. With the final wreck of the night, multiple cars were trapped a lap down. The only cars on the lead lap were the mangled remnants of Andrew Mraz, and Jim Whaley Jr. With a Green White Checkered this was going to get hairy. Immediately several cars zoomed around the lead cars in an attempt to get their lap back. This left Mraz and Whaley Jr in a mangled shootout. A survival of the fittest. Both cars would go the final two laps side by side. Out of Turn 4 the #22 of Mraz would get out of control and launch Whaley hard into the wall. In a show of true sportsmanship, Mraz would not cross the Start / Finish line to allow Whaley the win as he was taken out.
