NEAMAN WINS A WILD ONE AT CALIFORNIA!!!

Opening night couldn't get here quick enough. However, it was a wild one with 9 cautions, which is an abnormality. Action got started with the #77 Pringles Ford Fusion of Justin Anderson grabbing the pole with a time of 41.894. The Dash saw Anderson getting a hotly contested win over Dennis Brasfield and Jim Whaley Jr. Heat 1 was a fan favorite, as the #51 of Paul Cohen made a pass right at the start finish line over Brent Day in the #42. Heat 2 was won by the #38 of Dennis Brasfield.

The feature saw 9 cautions as the drivers seemed to be struggling with the set. The race was very competitive though as there 20 official lead changes. That isn't counting all the swapping on the backstretch and the turns. Last seasons points Champion Justin Anderson would find trouble on lap 34 as he destroyed his car exiting turn 4. The rest of the field struggled just as bad as no ones car was without damage. The race changed for good when with 7 laps to go, Brasfield hooked Whaley out of turn 4 while battling for the lead. Effectivley ending their shot for the win. With that being said, Nolan Neaman got loose out of 4 and got up into the the #42 of Day getting him loose enought to get the win. This is Neaman's first win, and his first official race. Travis Ellington in the #57 would have the fastest lap with a time of 41.939. Dennis Brasfiel would lead the most laps with 46.

Top 5:

Winner: Nolan Neaman #15

2nd: Brent Day #42

4th: Jim Whaley Jr #46
