Whaley's Win Goes Away With A Quick Last Corner Pass!!!

The rescheduled race from earlier in the season did not disappoint. Once again Anderson would grab the pole with a time of 37.580. Matt Quick would pace practice which would serve notice to the rest of the field. The first half of the race flew by until the competition caution flew on lap 50. The final yellow on lap 90 would set up a mad dash to the finish. The #77 of Anderson and #89 of Matthew Quick would tangle out of turn 4. Neither would receive much damage and be able to continue on. Anderson would gamble with 2 tires again like last week, with the same result. Whaley got past Anderson and Brasfield and brought Quick in tow. Quick and Whaley would go at it with 2 to go. Inside, outside they both would go. Whaley would get a good run into 1 but get extremely pushy and had no choice but to concede a bit to not take Quick out. The exact same thing would happen in 3 & $ but Whaley would have to get completely out of it and allow Quick to walk away. Quick would lead 37 laps and almost lead the most. Anderson would take that honor with 46 led. Whaley would finish 2nd again for the 4th straight race. Justin Anderson would come home in 3rd. Trevor Malone had another strong to finish 4th. And once again Mr Consistent Mark Koschik comes home in 5th. Congratulations to Matthew qick and join us for the season finale at Daytona next week!
