Anderson Stretches Lead With Texas Win!!!

Last week's track conditions made for a very difficult race for driver with it's insane track temperature and lack of grip. This week's conditions made it where the drivers couldn't turn, and in turn made it less of a race, and more of finding a way around the track. None did that better than R-n-J Motorsports driver Justin Anderson in his #77 R-n-J Motorsports / Raybestos Ford Fusion. Of course you needed to be perfect as there were no cautions. All 100 laps were full green. So you had zero time to overcome any mistakes you made. Pit-stops would also be magnified in this regard.

Anderson would continue his stranglehold of poles with a time of 32.501. Anderson would also lead 97 of the 100 laps, asserting his dominance. R-n-J Motorsports team owner Jim Whaley Jr returned to some form of relevance with a solid 2nd place finish. He would be only 1 of 3 leaders. Trevor Malone with another solid finish would finish in 3rd place. Tony Bowling who was the last to lead a lap brought his Chevrolet SS home in 4th. Dennis Brasfield would lick his wounds but bring home a damaged car in 5th after winning in Homestead last week. Next week the boys are off to Phoenix before taking a break for Easter. As always.....Race Ya There!!!

Winner: Justin Anderson (Ford)

2nd: Jim Whaley Jr (Ford)

3rd: Trevor Malone (Chevy)

4th Tony Bowling (Chevy)

5th: Dennis Brasfield (Chevy)
