Anderson Returns To His Winning Ways!!!

Justin Anderson Wins At Chicagoland.

Justin Anderson left Chicagoland Speedway in tatters with his dominating performance in the Chicagoland 125 Presented by Sure Fire Racing. Anderson would get max points as well as lead an astounding 113 laps of the 125 lap distance. He would also have the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 30.543 seconds. Although Anderson was nearly untouched, the same couldn't be said for Tony Bowling and Trevor Malone. These two wound up going at it all race. Neither one could get away from the other. Each driver would overtake the other, just to be retaken by each other again. They really did put on a show for the fans. Newcomer Brent Day would come home with an impressive finish of 4th. Rookie contender Michael Russell kept his nose clean to be the last car on the lead lap in 5th.

Mark Koschik was the first car 1 lap down and still came home with a respectable 6th place finish. Veteran series champion Jim Whaley Jr would have a day worth forgetting with multiple mistakes. Even still, he would end up finishing 7th. Paul Cohen, Terry Walters and rookie Donald Kendrick would round out your Top 10. All in all the race was fairly clean and quick with just 4 caution over the coarse of 125 laps. Once again, congratulations to your winner Justin Anderson. Next week the drivers are off to Kansas Speedway for the Kansas 100. Race Ya There!!!!
