Zooming Zautner Tops The Class!!!!

The Friday Night Thunder Series opened its season with the SnowFlake 100 in Pensacola Florida at 5 Flags Speedway in the SK Modified. 14 cars took the green as Nick Zautner took the early lead with Andre Beaudoin close in 2nd.

First caution comes out on lap 30 as the #1 car of Robert Underwood self-spins out of turn 4 going head on into the inside wall. The result was catastrophic engine failure.

Green flag flies and a short run brings out the 2nd caution on lap 46 has the #44 of Jason Harned and the #66 of Nick Zautner spinning in turn 4.

Green flag back out with no more cautions to slow the field has 5 lead changes but in the end the fastest car was the #66 of Nick Zautner taking the checkers on the first race of the season.
