Shane Gross Breaks Through For First Win At SoBo!!!

Round 2 of the Friday Night Thunder Series headed to South Boston Virginia for the ShortTrack Showdown SK 125. 16 Mod’s took the green flag and had clean racing. Only slowed by a few cautions, it was clean and hard racing. Some good drivers would fall but Shane Gross passing Robert Underwood for the lead with 20 to go would not look back as he takes the checkers for the win.

Robert Underwood would fiercely hold off Michael J Halligan for 2nd as he would settle for 3rd. Terry Walters returns from a bad start at New Smyrna to finish 4th and Monty Selsor rounds out the top 5 at South Boston Speedway.
