Upcoming Sure Fire Season 2 2015 Notes!!!

Drivers...........to the hauler! Good Morning everyone! Here is some info on the upcoming season. We have decided to hold off on the new series for right now. With summer, it might just be too much. We will relive it in the future. But for right now we're just going to focus on the "Modifieds" and "Cup" series. The schedules are up right now. The other piece of info is that we are going to try "Fixed" set-ups for the "Cup" this coming season. This last season we had some attendance issues. This can be attributed to late broadcasted races, iracing scheduled events and set-up issues. Lately every new season has wiped out sets. This infuriates guys as well as screws people who struggle with sets. Also, fixed just outperforms open almost 2-1 in participation. So our thinking is that it evens the field as everyone has the exact same car. So there won't be people struggling with making sets as they may or may not be thrown away via iracing updates. This now makes it all about the driver's skills. We are also going to see if it in fact, does increase attendance. This should help those who struggle making or finding sets, in theory anyway. But don't think you can just show up and drive fast. Trust me, there are fixed drivers who are just as fast as open drivers. So you will still need to practice. We know this will make some happy and some won't like it, but recently the numbers have plummeted and we need to find a way to get back to where we were. If it works....awesome. If it doesn't, then we go back to what was. But according to iracing, the numbers speak that it will work. So that will conclude our press conference. Thank You!!!!
