Brasfield Takes First Win Of Season!!!!

The Axalta “We Paint Winners” 200 at Phoenix Pocono Raceway by Sure Fire Racing was the destination for this weekend’s race. Justin Anderson showed he had the faster car from the start but a new strategy of pitting for a splash of fuel with 1 lap to green put him in the back of the field. His hard charge to the front was quick but while in 2nd running down the leader he would self-spin out of turn three giving the lead to DJ Brasfield.

DJ Brasfield would not look back as he took the checkers for his first win of the season. Justin Anderson would regain the 2nd spot and hold it to the start/finish line. Alex Harkey crossed the line in 3rd with Chuck Shaw Jr in 4th. Matthew Quick rounded out the top 5.
