Burthwick Nabs Second Win Of The Season!

The Drivers were on the grid as Will Robertson motioned them to start to roll in the Duck Commander 200 at Texas Motor Speedway. The green flag was given to Justin Anderson and DJ Brasfield and the pack went screaming into turn 1. Justin Anderson looked to have the winning car until lap 59 when his car coming out of turn 2 got upset by the transition onto the back stretch, and would end his bid for the win.

Jim Whaley Jr would assume the lead until the only caution came out on lap 96. Matthew Quick self-spins on the front stretch allowing the last pit stop the drivers would need.

On the restart, Paul Burthwick took over the lead from Jim and would make the run to the checkers for the win at Texas. Jim Whaley Jr crossed the line for 2nd. Robert Underwood with his best run of the season took the 3rd spot with Chuck Shaw Jr crossing the line for 4th and Justin Anderson after returning from the garage would round out the top 5.

Congratulations to Paul Burthwick on his win at Texas Motor Speedway.
