HUBER TAMES THE MONSTER!!!!

The Sure Fire Racing league invaded the Dover International Speedway last night, giving drivers 100 laps to try and tame The Monster. But the man who beat The Monster, was Kenneth Huber, who led an outstanding 81 laps.

Eleven cars took the field with Andre Beaudoin sitting on the pole. Unfortunately, mechanical issues plagued the Beaudoin team, forcing them to start the race from the pits. Rookie driver, Vinicius Dias, spun his tires at the drop of the green putting him into the outside wall, causing cosmetic damage to the #59 of Michael Allen. This incident also forced the #56 Chuck Shaw Jr. to bring his car to a complete stop to avoid getting any damage himself.

Turn two of this mile track had it in for veteran driver, Chuck Shaw Jr. as Chuck bangs the left rear of his Chevy Camaro against the inside wall on Lap 5 causing damage. But The Monster wasn't done yet with the Shaw Camaro, as just three laps later, Chuck touches the apron yet again this time slamming the right side of his car against the outside wall. But the Minions weren't just after Chuck Shaw as R-n-J Motorsports driver, Terry Walters had issues with his car and brought his #27 Ford Mustang to the garage on Lap 21.

Lap 41 brings out the first caution of the day as third place, Travis Wall, got on the gas too much, too soon coming out of Turn 4 causing him to get loose and slap the outside wall of the front stretch, resting his #44 Ford Mustang off the track in Turn 1.

The #21 of Scott Bolster brings us back to the green flag on Lap 46, holding off the charge of Kenneth Huber. Lap 48 brings out the second caution as the #1 of Robert Underwood slaps the wall coming out of Turn 2, bouncing him to the inside wall causing his motor to explode on impact.

Once again, it's Scott Bolster who brings us back to green flag racing on Lap 53 and again holding off Kenneth Huber. But was Lap 60 when Kenneth Huber decided that he wanted the lead back and took it passing Bolster in Turn 4, not giving it up for the remainder of the race. Lap 89 brings out the final caution here at Dover as the #55 Thomas Christ and the #21 Scott Bolster are battling for third. Christ touches the wall coming out of Turn 2 throwing him just enough into Bolster causing Bolster to lose control and forcing him into the inside wall. Fortunately, not enough damage was caused and Bolster was able to continue.

Lap 94 brings out the green flag with just six more laps to go. The #40 of Jim Whaley Jr. tries to flex his muscle and take a shot at the lead, but has nothing for the #30 Kenneth Huber. As the leader pulls away, it's Christ and Whaley battling for 2nd. It's Christ who comes out of that battle in 2nd place as Whaley falls back into third. Trying to get his position back, Whaley, coming out of Turn 4, gives it too much and slightly wobbles but over corrects and slams the outside wall on the front stretch, giving third place to Andre Beaudoin.

Congratulations to Kenneth Huber for the win at Dover with Thomas Christ coming in second. Third place goes to Andre Beaudoin, Michael Allen brings it in for a 4th place finish and Jim Whaley Jr. rounds out the top 5.
